Great little campground in a beautiful area. Reasonable rates; has 2 pools, clean restroom/shower rooms, camp store/souvenir shop(they sell ice cream here too), and a snack bar with pizza&wings. I do wish the snack bar was open later, but i know they are currently short staffed. Our stay was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed.

This is not what I would expect when paying for a Jellystone Park. There were 2 small pools, which were never very clean. The spaces were very small and close together. There are trees, but they're only behind the RV's, not between. The bathrooms were constructed in a way that makes no sense. They are shower/bathroom combos, and each is private, which is nice. But there was no drain other than in the shower. The shower curtains were too short, so water poured onto the floor. If you walk into the bathroom after someone has showered, hoping to just use the toilet, you have to be careful not to slip on the water. Also, the hooks for towels are nowhere near the actual shower, forcing you to walk across the wet floor to get your towel. And if the showers were all full there was no toilet available! There were 2 very small and unimpressive playgrounds, and one very dusty and dingy bounce pad that was far away from anything else. There were no activities, and really not much to do around the campground. If you're just looking for a place to stay while visiting all the insanely priced amusements around Pigeon Forge then this place will suffice. But if you're hoping for a campground that is fun and entertaining on its own, keep looking. The staff was kind, but the facilities left a LOT to be desired.

We stay at this Jellystone every year. Our 14 year old Autistic daughter love Yogi Bear. Every time we come to this campground, the staff is amazing. They treat us like family and go above and beyond to make sure we all have a great time. Rosie, Chris, Jackie and Jen make that place awesome. They have many great activities for the kids, the pools, bouncing pillow, and the playgrounds are fantastic to keep the kids entertained. We are already planning our next trip for August and Labor day. Thank you again Rosie, Chris, Jackie and Jen for all your hard work and your amazing customer service.

Booking for this location was easy. All was going good until we got to the location. The staff were friendly and we checked in. The issue was that we didn’t get our cabin and keys until an hour or so later. I thought we were supposed to get our things once we got there? Other then that everything was fine.

As many have said, very tight spaces and site numbers are not well marked. I feel like I'm in a sardine can. Only a couple bathrooms. One morning while I was taking a shower, someone was able to open the door of the bathroom even though I'd locked it. The handle wasn't on tight. Staff is nice and a few cute things to do while on property. Not so sure I'd return.

Just getting ready to head out from a wonderful 5 night 6 day adventure in Pigeon Forge TN. Jellystone's stay was great. A couple little things with the bathrooms, but not enough to be worried about. Pleasant staff worked everyday to see our needs were met. Beautiful area with trees to block the sun, and swimming pills to cool off.Would definitely come again with my wife and friends as well as bring my Grandson. Thanks again to the staff for making sure our stay was comfortable.

We stayed in one of the tents and we had a great time. We only stayed a couple of nights but my kids loved it and there was a big enough area next to our tent for our kids to run around in and we enjoyed having the golf cart. Only complaint would be the bathrooms, they were nice and clean our first night but our second night they were dirty and out of toilet paper but like everywhere else they are short staffed. The staff was very friendly though and I definitely hope to be back some day.

Sites are extremely small with no grass. Nothing to do. The biggest attraction at the campground was the pond with the smallest fish. Pools were VERY small. Site did have concrete pads but since Campground was on a slope, the concrete pad were were about 5-6 inches off level. I will not return. Too many better places in the area to camp.

Nice campground, parking spots are small. Not big rig friendly. We're 38 ft and were fine no toad. Bathrooms were clean and staff were friendly. Kids loved the fishing at the lake. Pools were not open yet due to it being Easter weekend. Nice location close to Dollywood and many activities.

If I could give more stars, I would. we had THE BEST time at this sweet campsite/park! the people are amazing and truly go above and beyond. We rented one of the RVs which was very very nice! We were only able to stay a few nights, but we left truly feeling like the staff and our neighbor campers were family! We also rented a golf cart and loved that it was a 24 hour rental!Loved that Yogi was around so much and there was so many activities! Both planned by the office and just in general! The boys went fishing a few times and jumped on the jump pad. We were there for our sons birthday and he said it was the best trip ever… even better than Disney World! ❤️Can't wait to come back soon!! Thank y'all so so much!! -the Davis 3

Had so much fun on our tour. Hannah was extremely knowledgeable and took great pictures. She was absolutely THE BEST tour guide we’ve ever had. She pointed out all kinds of fossils and rock formations and answered all of our questions. By far one of our favorite cave tours! I’d say I liked this one more than Ruby Falls, but definitely check them both out. The fossil and arrowhead panning was fun too. Pricing was fair as well! (The super cute cats were a bonus)

The tour at Raccoon Mountain Caverns puts the one at Ruby Falls to Shame. We landed here by mere accident yesterday for my birthday trip to kill some time before Rock City and Ruby Falls. We were blessed to have an incredible tour guide Darius. He was knowledgeable and full of a wealth of information. He had first hand knowledge of the cave. You could tell he loves what he does. The experience was incredible. 6 hours later, we went on the Ruby Falls tour. The entire experience at Raccoon Caverns was light years ahead of the one we experienced at Ruby Falls. Most of that was because of Darius. We cannot wait to come back and experience more of the cave. Darius made us have a desire to explore more while the tour guide at Rock City had us begging for it to be over.

The hardest hike I had ever been on. It was definitely challenging. Coming down is no easier than going up. It would be nice if there were more labels. We went looking for the waterfall in one of the pictures but there was no direction to get there on the hiking ground. The paths weren't super clear. There was some guys work to get to the top. Luckily some people left rope behind to help people up once the path became steep. The views were fantastic.

Raccoon Caverns are such a gem, I did the walking tour with Eric and knew I had to come back for the wild cave tour after that amazing experience. Ended up having Eric and Rachel guide 7 of us on the wild tour which was mind blowing. A must see if you're considering caverns in the area, definitely my favorite stop in Tennessee!

There is not a lot to do if you don't wanna get in the pool. There are some games and things for kids. But the cabins have always been clean and the staff is super nice. We haven't tried the caves, but it is a good place to get away from a full house and spend some time with the Mrs. We've been 3 or 4 times and will continue to go when we need a break and some alone time. Decent prices, and close enough to Chattanooga that if you forget something there's a Walmart and dollar tree right down the road

We only stopped on a recent visit to Chattanooga to tour the Raccoon Mountain Cavern. We took the Crystal Palace Walking Tour. Rachel was our guide and she did an exceptional job! She was very informative and made it fun too! It takes about an hour to do the tour and the cave was a cool 58 degrees so a welcome respite from the 100 degree weather outside.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Raccoon Mountain Caverns and Campground. It’s easily accessible to downtown Chattanooga, and other tourist attractions in the area. The campground is surrounded by mountains and you have a great view. Full hookup sites, trash pick up twice a day, nice dog park, swimming pool and seemed to be very well maintained. We will definitely be back again for another visit. Highly recommend this campground if you are looking for a nice getaway.

Fabulous campground. We stayed in Cabin 2 with a queen bed and twin bunk beds, mini fridge, microwave, and a/c. The fire pit and picnic table were a great touch. The bathhouses were clean and well maintained. The pool has a great view and is a nice way to spend a hot day. We also did the cavern tour which was excellent. Eric gave is a private tour and we really enjoyed it!

Loved this cave tour! Ava was very knowledgeable and funny, which my kids loved! Didn’t see any salamanders, but they have a nice display of the animals you can find in the cave. Some of the lights weren’t working inside of the cave, so it was a little dark, but we were able to use phone flashlights and made it through just fine.

Had a really nice cave tour here. My tour guide Ava was very knowledgeable. I was lucky to go on a tour by myself, the next group was much larger. Very nice cave with lots of formations. Also saw cave crickets and salamanders. Way less touristy then ruby falls and more enjoyable honestly.

We look forward to staying thereHi first of all seen this park was anxious to stay however we had a wreck damage our camper and we are unable to use it at this time I called explained willing to send proof insurance claim has been filed and they will not refund my money was only for two night I'm very disappointed I understand it's the world we live in but my husband didn't serve 24 years Army for this cold inconsiderate behavior it was just me and two granddaughter in vehicle didn't even ask if we were ok. I hope they take my money and learn some compassion for the human race we're not all bad God Bless

This negative review is a result of Cook’s lake’s unreasonable cancellation policy. We made reservations for 3 nights, but within 2 hours of making the reservation, realized it wasn’t going to work for us. I left a message, but the office was closed. I called the next morning and was informed the reservation was non-refundable and we lost the entire amount for the 3-night stay. I called and talked to the owner who confirmed that was the policy and was unwilling to make any accommodation for us. I have canceled other RV park reservations due to delays and changes to our trip. In most cases, only the first night is non-refundable. Some only charge a small cancellation fee. This seems fair and reasonable. However, in this case, they kept it all! I told the owner I would do what I could to let others know about his unreasonable policy. He said that is fine and he has been doing this a long time. So that is why I am writing this review. In fairness, his policy was presented at the time the reservation was and clearly stated on the website. I did agree to it! However, in a case where we realized so quickly that we made a mistake, it just seems wrong that he should keep the entire amount. Lesson learned, always check the cancellation policy and never make a reservation with a camp/park that will not refund any part of it under any condition. We are relatively new and this and hope to save other newbies some grief.

Got friends that stay here for work on job site for the new Ford plant being built. Park is well kept, clean and quiet at night. Pond is huge with good fishing. Has laundry and showers on site. It even has a small general store.

We stayed here for a week. The owner was a very nice man. His wife was super friendly and a great cook! She made a 4th of July meal that was some of the best home cooking away from home that we’ve had! There was a local blues band and fireworks for holiday entertainment. The park was very well kept and quiet.

I stayed here from September to July. There are park rules anywhere you go, and they are enforced here. Can you leave your dogs outside so they can bark and annoy the neighbors? No.Do they mow the grass here? Yes. Anyone who has worked a day in their life knows that mowing 7 acres takes like 8 hours then throw in doing it around everybody's RVs and vehicles... so yeah mowing takes a day or two in a row.Prices have changed? Oh my then please don't go grocery shopping or look at gas prices. Anyone who hasn't been in a coma the last year would know that inflation and the economy has caused price increases with everything. The business owner is also someone who has to make a living and has bills to pay. Also, you get what you pay for. Have fun with 550 rent.Did we have some problems here? Yeah sure. The power went out twice in ten months and the owner was on the phone with the electrical company both times at 2 am. Are they putting efforts in to add more spots and improve the park yeah and it shows. Is any rv park perfect, no.Long story short, I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I ever find myself in Memphis.

I will share with you some facts and you decide your own opinion. Two months after leaving i noticed a suspicious loan on my credit report. After some investigating i found out that a loan had been taken out at a memphis area credit union in my name THE SAME AFTERNOON I completed paperwork to rent my spot here. Was in the area on 3/09/22 looking for an rv spot to pull in on 3/12/22. Was told that one was available but that i must pay from the current day going forward. After the first month the rate was raised from $700 a month to $1000 a month starting in June.

Friendly and helpful owner and staff and a beautiful lake front site. Everything works. Actually decided t.o stay 4 nights and did not regret it. The pool was non-operational at the time but it looked clean. Wish I had the capital to invest in the park. It has alot of promise.

We needed a place to land for the night due to having a screw in a tire. I called about an hour before arriving and they were very accommodating. We had a lakeside site which we enjoyed. Campground was moderately full. Staff was great …. Very friendly and helpful. Clean!

Reasonable rates, pretty quiet, dog friendly and lots of space to tie up next to your camper and good space to walk them. We happened to get the best spot next to the lake, took this picture right outside our door. Unfortunately the bathroom is not open until May but full hookups and laundry room is available.
