Out of town with a group of friends someone decided on "camping" but didn't want to tent we also flew in. We rented a cabin which worked out wonderfully. It was very clean, could easily sleep six and had all the amenities including dog bowls, gas grills(at each unit!) towels and a swing on the porch. We arrived late and someone was there at 11:00 p.m. in the rain to greet us and take us to the cabin. Firewood and ice can be delivered anytime of day and the camp store was very well stocked. Buying a membership after this stay!

We love the convenience and the location to so many attractions. We love that you can book on line and we get great points rewards that we can use at any Koa for free nights! The Store always have supplies and the staff is always helpful and up beat.the only thing I think needs to change is to fix up the outdoor events like miniature golf course and shuffle board area need upgrading.the kids really enjoy the pool and the air pillow !! Fun was had by all!!!

Look no further. Great family campground. Just enough to keep you kids busy. Tent sites are wooded and nicely sized. Just be mindful the tent pads only fit 10*10 tents. They did make great picnic table plaforms though. Family centered ocean parks are close by. Great place to land for a family camping trip.

Pool was still closed but were filling it the day we were leaving. they did allow us to move to another site which we were appreciative of. the giant inflatable was down on the second day of our stay due to “maintenance” If you are going there to just use as a place to sleep at night it’s fine but all amenities are very outdated. they did offer a discount because of the pool. there is an arcade in basement but severely outdated as well. the general store and offices had quite a selection of items to purchase and are open 9-5 after 5 a nice gentleman on a golf cart can help with basic items but he leaves at midnight and midnight till 9am there is no staff on call was told to call 911 if there is a problem. all and all wasn't best place wasn't the worst but wont be returning.I have no idea where the sites are with the nice brick patios are but never saw a singe one.P.S.- my son did love the 4 slides. but seem to be the next thing to be down due to “maintenance” issue.

No Pool in the prime of summer heat. We were not told about this prior to arrival. When we pulled up with 3 Rv's and saw it was closed, the kids were happy at all, no good with 8 kids looking forward to swimming. Seriously, what campground, especially a KOA does that?!? Bounce pillow was not safely inflated. The place was run down and the office hours were limited. We all booked 8 months out for 3 sites together with 3 families together, we got spread out which was disappointing and it was not corrected. Unkempt dirty back bathrooms. They had to pump out a septic tank on a day, I know you cant help that but it wasn't pleasant. Dated & expensive game room. Overgrown brush by the slides. The only saving grace was the proximity to Mystic itself so we could leave and explore. Staff was nice to us though.

Good for a very pricey over night at best. Nothing more. None of the amenities are open. Jump pad closed. Pool closed. No apologies. No kindness. Two girls are nice, the rest of the staff were rude or non attentive.

Yes, the pool is currently closed and I rated accordingly. But we are literally 15 minutes from beautiful Rhode Island beaches, so I am not too concerned with that. We have a deluxe patio site, and it is awesome! Our kids have found plenty to do to entertain themselves. I understand negative reviews because having a pool is a must for some people. But I was expecting a place that is old and destitute. I did not find that the case at all and would return.

This season, the campground has gone downhill. Fast. There are two pools at the campground and both were closed “for refurbishment”. Tough to plan refurbishments in the middle of summer when people are relying on the pools as part of the amenities offered (especially at that price point). The mini golf is in pretty rough condition, and the jumping pillow is partially deflated, so the kids aren’t able to really enjoy it at all. The store/office closes at 5:00 which isn’t very convenient. And the drink truck would be nice or it was open, we stayed three nights and it was not open once during our stay. The location is the only thing going for this campground at this point, will likely not return at these prices since most of the amenities are not as advertised when we booked.

Our last visit in June of 2022 was disappointing as the pool was closed and we were never notified that they hadn't received their permit. It really stunk because that was our plan for the week, to sit by the pool. They gave us a few bundles of wood to "make up for it" but I felt more should've been offered. When everything is operational this is a nice campground that is close to a lot of fun (dog friendly) things to do.

Never again, while the office staff are friendly.. a lot of people stay up late with loud music and also allow their dogs to bark all day and run without leashes. Should be a quiet rule after a certain. Time. I get people want to have fun in the summer but at least have respect late at night when people are sleeping. Never experienced this in other places we have camped. Also the bathrooms/showers are very dirty and not cleaned often. Really wanted to like this place. Again we did have a warm welcome, I just wish something was some about the midnight-after midnight loud music parties coming from the RV areas behind the tents, we had site W52 and it was the people in the arc’s behind. Could not sleep until maybe 3 because of them! Unacceptable and very disrespectful. Went to the bathroom. And the rest of the campground was peaceful except all the ones behind our tent. Playground areas not kept up, the pool was green and closed. It’s summer, best not to go to the Koa chain anymore as they don’t care about the terrible state their campgrounds are in.

Lots of unique things for the kids to do. Our RV site was nice, lots of space and shaded. The pull-through sites looked closer together, glad I chose back-in. Only suggestion would be to add some more shower/bathroom buildings more spread out

I love this campground. It’s a beautiful campground with lots of activities but also a great opportunity for peacefulness. Staff is friendly and the vibe is nice. We always try to get here at least once a year.

If I could give this place more stars I would. They are top notch in hospitality. They made a special time even more special for us. I can't thank Kay and Kathleen and the KOA team enough!! See all of you soon!!

My wife and I just got back from a spur of the moment camping night at Beaver Pines Campground. We actually live for the summer in another campground in Rhode Island and decided to meet one of our kids and his wife there for a night of fun.Right from the start we got a great impression from the owners of the campground. We talked for a few minutes and then they showed us where our site was on their nice brochure. The site was easy to back our 25 foot camper into, it was nice and level, and the hookups were close and easy to use. The campground itself was very clean and tidy as pretty much all of the seasonal sites were well maintained and cared for.All of this made for a very pleasant evening with our son and his wife. We were very pleased with our time at Beaver Pines and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in the woods off Connecticut.

This is an absolute gem of a campground. It's perfect for true campers who want a rustic spot to pitch a tent in the woods and some glorious hiking nearby. The owners couldn't be friendlier and the entire campground has a very family vibe. There are a bunch of semi-permanent trailers on the ground but it actually makes the whole place seem more like one big family. My friends and I were absolutely thrilled. Peaceful, private, and exquisitely beautiful.

You feel like family at this campground from day 1.. the owners are very nice and down to earth, campground is clean and well maintained, sites are spacious and reasonable. Not much to do for small children but my family still enjoys themselves very much when we go here

Aces High will not disappoint! The park itself was super peaceful with some of the largest sites we've seen. Bathrooms and laundry area were convenient, clean, and offered plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool and even caught a few fish in the pond! Convenient location, just 5 minutes from Costco and 15 minutes to the beach!

On the smaller side but a very quaint little campground. Very well-kept grounds and nice staff. It gets quiet earlier than normal but I was OK with that.

2nd time here. They don't allow you to pick a site. I booked a year in advance again requesting near pool and partial shade. 2nd time in row placed in desert farthest from pool. Never ever coming to this park again. They play favorites to regulars. If you enjoy being an egg, this is your place.

The RV Park gave off a welcoming feeling as you drove onto the manicured property. In addition to the lawn being well maintained, the entire park was clean from debris, however, the geese left their markings...of little bother and the designated beach area was a tad overgrown. Sites were provided excellent spacing between units and were flatter than most parks. Staff were friendly and treated each guest with respect and care to resolving issues and concerns. I gave a 4 star rating as the Luxurious Camping Resort label did not meet expectations of a luxurious resort would be even with a single pool. At the time of my visit, it was mostly adults until Sunday afternoon when grandchildren arrived the site next to us. Most dog owners kept the dogs on leash though we had a shepherd mix charge at us during a walk with our two small dogs, the dog did not attack. Overall, If you absolutely want a getaway from the hustle and bustle, the RV Park will give you quietness and peace of mind as you sit under the sun on your site or at the pool.

Small but very well kept campground. owner and staff are great. Perfect location for great seafood and beach. The pond is very nice and is good for fishing. We go there 3 times a year and always enjoy ourselves. Almost forgot the heated pool, always well kept and 80 degrees
