Very nice park, sites right on the colorado river. Super clean and very well maintained. They told us about a great restaurant in town, and they even have a cart to shuttle you over and back. The place was really good and not disappointed at all. We just did an overnight stay, but next time we'll plan on a couple days. Staff was very helpful and super friendly.

If you are heading that direction make it an overnight! Clean is an understatement. Check in staff is beyond friendly and courteous. Plenty of room between sites and the dogs love the river walk and dog park. Doesn't get much better.

This was a highlight 2-night stay on my road trip. Reserved a back-in river view (W) patio space. Site came complete with concrete pathway, fire pit, BBQ, private gazebo, table and chairs and two Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Firewood delivered to your site upon request ($7). We absolutely loved looking out the back window of our RV and seeing and hearing the Colorado River. Clean and well maintained park. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. Excellent water pressure (use a regulator!) and very good WiFi. We cannot wait to return to this location!

This KOA campground is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. The price was affordable at $45 per night for full hook ups in our 30 foot pole behind camper. The area is super clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool area is clean and plenty of comfortable chairs to sit in while taking in the breathtaking view of the mountains around campgrounds. If you have kids this is top-notch for things to do. Ride bikes play in the splash pad the playground or swim in the pool. It has clean bathrooms with showers a laundry facility and a clean dump station

Stayed for three days, great place, good for kids, priced reasonably for a family. Area has a lot of sites, and amenities. Sites are clean, well maintained. They do require a pressure regulator, and sell them on site if you don't have one. Great service

This is a vast, well maintained campground. There is a large dog park in the center that is off leash. Our site had a concrete patio with a cute table and chairs and grass that the dogs loved laying on. Flat gravel parking, clean bathrooms. They have planted trees throughout the campground that will mature over the years into beautiful shade trees. For now they create nice breaks between campsites. The river runs right past the campground. In June it is a raging torrent, but I would imagine parts of the year it is more accessible.

One of the nicest RV parks that we have ever stayed at. Lots of space between your neighbors, grass and trees, well maintained and super nice employees. Even spotted some bald eagles. BUT this lovely park is a 20 minute drive to Glenwwod Springs. Very deceiving name for the park. Oh yeah, make sure and catch the shuttle to Miners Claim restaurant. Great martinis and food. The shuttle driver is great!

This has been one of the best KOA parks we've stayed at!The staff is super friendly and well organized with their reservations. There is even a guide that will lead you to your spot if you want. The grounds are well-kept and the park itself is beautiful.A gas station is nearby too if needed.Opon our visit, our space backed up to part of the river that ran behind the park, so it was very tranquil. We will definitely visit this KOA park again if ever in the area.

This is one of the nicest KOAs we have ever stayed at. The patio river front sites are amazing and so worth the extra money. The staff was very friendly on check-in and assigned us to what I thought was the best site in the park. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be back to this campground next time we're in the area.

Very clean, well maintained, quiet RV resort within minutes of Breckenridge and Frisco with RV sites and chalets. Once we reserved our site we received email updates and instructions for check-in, our stay and check-out.The club house has a small gym, indoor pool, game room, laundry, seating area and owners area. Our site had ample space and all sites were constructed to offer semi-privacy.

Tiger Run is a very beautiful resort. It’s landscaping is second to none. The sites are above average. The quieter end of the resort is toward the river but generally it is quiet everywhere. We will definitely return.

By far the BEST RV park in Colorado! Easy leveling with concrete pads, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Owners rent out RV spaces so some of the spaces have multiple seating areas to enjoy. People are amazing. Amenities are 1st class. Bring your bikes because you will love riding them around the sites. Site 319 was amazing Cant want to come back next year to escape the Texas heat!

Top notch RV and Cabin resort. We stayed for the weekend with our 30 foot travel trailer and it was amazing in terms kf amenities and accommodations. The kids swam in the club house and biked around the complex. Everyone was very friendly and the location was pretty amazing. Definitely a not to miss of you are looking to stay in the area with an RV or travel trailer.

One of the most beautiful RV resorts I've ever seen. There are many lancaped permanent cabins in addition to drive through RV sites. Many trails are available to hike and there is an indoor swimming pool and workout area. The owners/ residents are very friendly and children are safe with a 9.5 mph speed limit!

Lovely RV park. Very nice indoor pool and play set. We rented it months in advance and everything went super smoothly. We even invited some friends who were staying intown to come over and use the pool with no issue. Super classy RV spot.

BEAUTIFUL place. Great location. However….-Front desk doesn’t respond to phone calls. (Called twice about RV washing and propane, never got a response)-Booking system is absurd. Good luck if you don’t know someone.-We were moved last minute to the very back by the dog park and got to hear yapping dogs and loud conversations beginning at 7am.-Construction being done at a site right behind us included concrete sawing which covered our truck and 5th wheel in concrete dust. No one mentioned it or apologized.-Broken sprinkler by our site ran for hours before I called maintenance who then shut it off. (Grass at our site is all dead, I assume it is due to broken sprinklers)All this and still 4 stars? Yes. It is that nice. Better management and easier booking would go a LONG way to making this place perfect.Do not choose site 344. Still very nice, but in our opinion, any other site would be a better choice.Picture taken at 8:30am

We tried the Italian grinder and the Classic Reuben both were tasty and well made. We also grabbed a couple of cinnamon rolls and they were also delicious. A good place to grab lunch in Frisco.

Nice, clean RV park with loads of amenities. Like that each site has its own covered sitting area with rolling shades. Long and wide paved spaces provide tons of room. Views are absolutely gorgeous! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we paid extra for a site that backs the river, but really what we have is a site that backs a busy highway and a river over a berm—that was definitely misleading. Could use more dumpsters as there’s not anything close and kind of a pain to haul. Would stay here again though!

we have stayed at this park 5 times in the last 10 years. It is one of the nicest and best run parks in the country. The sites are large with plenty of trees and nice landscaping.Other RV parks could take a lesson from the Tiger Run people on to properly manage an RV park. We stay here in a 42' motorhome and have plenty of room. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

We loved our stay at KOA Central City! The staff was so kind and a pleasure to be around and our cabin was perfect! With hiking trails and cute cities close by, this is the perfect Denver stay. Just close enough to Denver that we could still visit but are able to enjoy the mountains without the hustle and bustle of the city.

The campground is nice with concrete pads and a nice general store. The staff are generally quite helpful and work hard to make your stay a good one.Unfortunately on our departure morning we were told that our campsite had been given to another camper. A truck and RV were then sitting outside our site with a couple inside waiting for us to leave. This was before the 11am checkout! It made for a rather stressful morning trying to rush and get our toy hauler loaded and out of the lot, all while they watched and waited just staring at us.On our way out I stopped into the office to tell the manager that it was a rather unpleasant experience. He was rather unreceptive to our feedback sharing a story about how this couple needed a spot and why couldn't we be understanding, and at one point said "you should try owning a campground".Hopefully this was just a one off event due to some stressful circumstances.

Excellent experience with my family. We felt very taken care of. Prices at the shop on site are super reasonable - not price gouge-y at all. The entire staff is super kind and helpful. Facilities were sparkling clean. Loved our stay!

This is a wonderful place! Everything about t from the amenities to the staff were amazing. The patio sites are concrete and have NICE tables with chairs in addition to extra chairs for just relaxing and a fire pit well situated at each site. VERY CLEAN. The restrooms and showers were spotless and the sites themselves were weed free and lovely. The rec room is nice and roomy and the oversized games were very pleasant. The staff is incredible. So friendly and helpful. We stay at KOA's often and I cannot say enough about this KOA. We will definitely be back! AND THE PIZZA.....I understand completely why the whole town gets their pizza here!!

Best KOA we have ever stayed at hands down. The views from the top tier sites are unparalleled. The staff, especially David, Sage, and Wayne were all outstanding. They really care about the campground and it shows. We stayed 2 weeks and felt like family. Love the little Sunday market in town. Such a charming area and the park was so well cared for and maintained, it was just a pleasure.

Herb and I are working here for the 3rd awesome Colorado Summer. It's an amazing almost 9,000 feet up the Rockies just outside a great little historic gambling town of Central City. Just beyond is Black Hawk with modern casinos. Just 45 minutes to Breckenridge and about 15 minutes to a wonderful town of Idaho Springs. Gold mine tours, rafting and zip line close by. Great location from Denver, approximately an hour drive. Many things to do..a wonderful vacation for everyone with breath-taking views. Join us..

The Campground may be pleasant in good weather but we arrived in mid May in a snow storm. The roads are not paved and the area was a muddy mess. The sites had so much snow we ended having to shovel off the area just to hook up. Although the owner is not responsible for the weather, he was extremely rude and condescending when I suggested he have his staff clear off the sites before the customers arrived. In addition on our last day I witnessed a woman fall on the stairs in the park due to the pile up of snow. I suggested, and offered our own salt crystals that we carry in our rig to him so that no one would get injured at his park. He became belligerent and threatened to throw me out of the park, most likely he was embarrassed that he had not taken that preventive action, but that was no way to treat a customer. The other negative is the only thing to do in that immediate area is go to casinos, which we never do and it is a good 45-60 minutes, depending on the weather drive down the mountain yo get into Denver. On a more positive note the staff working at the Campground particularly the female staff, were friendly and helpful. The owner definitely needs lessons on customer service. We will never book at this Campground again, due to the owners lack of customer service.

I don't write a lot of reviews. Am taking the time at 11:30pm after a long day of driving to say that we have had the best experience at this KOA of any campground. The views, amenities, etc., are all great, but above and beyond was the level of care, kindness, hospitality, and welcome provided by the hosts David and his wife throughout our stay. I plan to make trips back to this location as often as possible (even to the point of inconvenience) because they have made our stay so amazing. Thank you so much to all who make this place what it is, and a special thanks to our hosts today.
