First time here. Great location, we were 15/20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. We stayed from Sunday to Sunday. It was really quiet until Thursday when the weekend crowd started rolling it. It was busy on the weekend, like a mini city full of people and golf carts. Quiet time was well respected while we were there. It was overall clean, though the showers needed to be cleaned more often and better (which is why I took off a star). No one bothered our stuff. We had a distinguished site and I would recommend paying extra for it as they do cram you in. I did get pictures of the super site, H08, and according to one of its occupants it was a 2 year waitlist to get in. This was not our usual camping experience but it was perfect for what we needed this week. I would recommend.

See you next summer! My husband grew up coming to Campland as a kid and after my first visit this July 2022, we cannot wait to come back every summer with our kids!I loved that it really promotes kids just being kids and enjoying swimming, biking, activities, and the weekend live band dance parties. For us, the parents, we really loved meeting new people at camp and on the beach, the Cantina cocktails, and overall the family environment. Everyone we met was so nice and inviting and you just don’t see that much anymore.AMENITIES: staff was friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean and had hot water, campsites could use a little extra cob web control but nothing crazy, and the entertainment was great!

This was my my families first time visiting this place. We left with great memories. I have already booked my vacation spot for the following year. They have a tons of fun things for the kids, such as dodge ball, a giant water slide and some inflatable jumpers. The bar and food was great. They also had bands playing in the late afternoon. As a bonus, this location is close to sea world, we got to see the firework show from a distance. I highly recommend it.

Extremely family friendly!! Literally so much fun for the whole family. We spent two days & the atmosphere is summer camp meets family trip. Would love to do it again for even longer. The bathrooms are pretty clean and love that showers are not timed. Fun games and activities to do through out the week and the beach is so clean. I do think it needs a little updating but overall such a fun experience.

This place is very busy in summer and the kids love it. There are so many activities and things to do for everyone. They have a great little beach on the bay for swimming and water fun and all sorts of things you can rent like boats and paddle boards. They also have a bar and a place to buy meals if you don’t snag to cook. They have a live band on stage too and they are pretty strict with the noise control after 10pm

Campland is a vacation of its own, you don't even need to leave to have a great time. Walking around felt like being in a summertime movie. Families bbqing, kids on bikes, the ocean in the background, the whole place has a great vibe. They have a nice beach that has boat, kayak, and bike rentals and a volleyball net. They have an arcade and ice cream shop for the kids but a nice bar and restaurant for the adults. The pool was nice but very crowded. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were probably my favorite part (clean, private, big). The property itself is huge so you can pick which parts you want to stay in. We tent camped by the playground. There were a lot of people walking through our campsite all day, even a kid tripping into our tent while we were sleeping. This place is definitely made for families with children. All night and day there are kids running around or riding bikes and screaming. They have quite hours starting at 11, don't expect calm before that. That being said I believe this place is meant for that, it's hard to be upset when you see all the kids having such a great time. Overall it is a FANTASTIC place for families wanting to just kick back at a good price and let there kids run wild but I wouldn't recommend if you want something private, calm, and relaxing.

Honestly, this is the best campground I've stayed at. The location is amazing the views are amazing the quiet time that's set up actually works and so it's very easy to sleep. The bathrooms and showers are mega clean and the pool was the perfect temperature. If you do plan on going here taking a bike is a good idea as the area around it has very nice bike paths. They also host fun events like dodgeball and basketball every day which is extremely entertaining to watch or participate in!

If you have never been here before I recommend you change that! If you are going with your significant other or your kids, you won’t be disappointed. I have been going here for years when I was a kid but I finally took my kids and wife. They loved it! All the activities and things to do their you won’t get bored. We also rented from a company called camp n style. That was also great to just show up and be ready to go! Highly recommend this campgrounds.

What can I say about this place it's all good it's a camping area but a high-end camping area . You have to go through security to get in they have a couple nice pools and a big jacuzzi it's right on the bay beautiful views. You can even watch the hydro races from there!!!!Nice laundry facility they even have a little video game area for the kids. They have special events on the weekends car shows sometimes they show movies sometimes they have little concerts. Very nice entertaining place. You can party as much as you want up until 10:00 then they expect you to quiet down. Which just means be quiet you don't have to stop just be quiet 🙂

Our trailer space was shady, clean, affordable and had a nice grassy area behind it. The bathroom/showers were close and very clean all the time and even kept at a comfortable temperature. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the grounds were well kept and even though the park was relatively full, we did not feel crowded in our section. Nice amenities. Great place for families with kids. Wonderful access to the bike/walk path that surrounds the bay and ocean.

The park has a lot of amenities which makes it's great spot for the whole family. The staff seemed friendly and everything went smoothly. If you're planning a visit you should know that this park, at least during this visit, was loaded full of folks with kids and dogs and the general vibe matches the neighboring PB party vibe. That said, I'd describe it as busy or perhaps vibrant. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is not that. Additionally I'd just point out that though the park appears to be in good repair, it shows it's age throughout. Considering everything, I would come back here and imagine that anybody in need of short term RV hookups would find plenty to like about this spot. For folks looking for a 5 star resort I imagine your opinion of the park will be influenced heavily by the number of kids, dogs, and beer you'll be bringing with you.

The 15 campsites at this first come first serve campground are set among boulders and dynamic rock formations. There is no running water but two vault toilets are available. Most of the campsites are close to the road but some are more secluded. There is little to no shade in the sites so plan on bringing an EZ-up or some form of covering during the summer months because the desert temperature can be unbearable. There are two rock attractions (heart rock and arch rocks) nearby and although only campers are supposed to park in the campground there are many hikers who loose their way and find themselves in the campground.

Nice camp ground. Pit toilets were clean, and some of the actual campsites are relatively private. Only downside is no water onsite, but that's the case with all of the campgrounds at the park.

Ants galore!! Dirty sites. Awful hook up connections - so much so a camper a few spots down sprayed their black water on themselves and their site. Crowded and loud on the weekends. Laundry facilities are the dirtiest I have seen thus far and we have see a lot of facilities during our travels. We were set up again a bike path. Planes from the airport are flying over, constantly. I am only giving the two stars because of location, because obviously Newport Beach is awesome. The beach area is rocky, nephews cut themselves up pretty good while playing in the sand and water. I wouldn’t recommend this spot, unless you can get a first row site on the beach area. If all that is available is the backside, find somewhere else.Market place is helpful, they have everything you need or might have forgotten. Soft serve was a plus!

It was fun I had a whole day out on the marina in a pontoon beautiful scenery. Everyone was nice. Just a little warning if you're coming in at around 7:00pm the restaurant's closed but the bathrooms are to your RIGHT HAND SIDE.

I took my daughter there for a birthday party of one of her friends. Parking was very easy location is great. They had the inflatable water slides and stuff which was really great the kids had a blast on that and they had paddle boats to rent it's a lot different than say five or six years ago even since I've been there it was a lot of fun.

Super nice bay to take the kids out and enjoy the day. We got there early, around 8 am. There are no waves. so, if you have people in you group that don't know how to swim, this setting is perfect for them. The only down side is that you can't cook when you go and visit for the day. This was our first time here and the kids had a blast. We'll be back again.

We liked this place a lot!! There are some stingrays in the water, so shuffle your feet, don't stomp around. The waterfront spots are really lovely, but expensive in summer. Lots is amenities here! The kids had a blast trying out the rental kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be back!

This place has so much potential but misses the mark. And that is primarily due to the attitudes of their late teen staff. We made reservations for the last two hours of the inflatable waterpark. Every person on the inflatables must wear a specific life jacket. Since there is zero work ethic or semblance of caring, the adult life jackets disappear. What does that mean? Well my seven year old that is supposed to be accompanied by an adult can’t go on the inflatables because they don’t have adult jackets available for any of the adults in our group. Why? They are too lazy to track them. They don’t know who has them or when they are coming back. And if you don’t bring them back, they will never know. This happened to numerous groups. They don’t refund you for the lost time-we lost almost a half hour of our first one hour reservation. Coupled with the talk of how they don’t want to work and can’t wait to leave work, it was less than a pleasant experience. The bathrooms were gross and in need of attention. It was just a disappointing experience.

Went to the inflatable obstacle course on the bay. It’s super fun. Went with ny boyfriend and his 3 year old-(she’s adventurous)- and after the first scary slide, she loved it. The course is fun for all ages and totally worth it.There’s kayaks and other things for rent too-all at reasonable prices and all the gear seems to be newer, because it’s all in great condition. The nearby RV parking camp sites looked nice-the park and beach are kept up well and staffed enough to be helpful but sparse enough to not bug.Cool family beach bay.

We are here today and I went around to check it out. First thing was the shower. It was nice and clean, had hot water, and a good size Landry room. It’s quiet and there a little grass & weeds here and there, but no big deal. The rain makes them grow faster than you can cut! The spaces are basic with water and electricity. The site is on gravel, but asphalt drive way/streets. The dumpster is in the corner outside before you walk to the bathrooms. And there are trash cans next to it. The internet is good. Here are some information sheets given to me and my pictures. I think it’s worth the $135, plus tax, for such a great location.

This is our family's favorite place to visit with friends and by ourselves. Lots of activities where you can do with kids or they can do by their own: paddle boarding, kayaking, water park in the bay, boat rental. I like that it's very safe for kids here, water is clean, super friendly staff. As a parents we can really enjoy being here with kids rather than always afraid of smth might happen as always on the regular beach. The food in the cafe in the resort is great. They have vegan option too. Bar , where you can buy drinks any kind.Store where you find everything for your needs. As a tea lovers , we managed to get hot water and tea from that store thanks to the amazing people who work there, and truly enjoyed our evening on the beach with a piece of chocolate cake ( we brought cake with us) .I love this place : for the families it is the best .

We (myself and my wife) were on a campsite on the beach, site 2112. Excellent facilities. We went to the main pool and used the hot tub. Noticed they had adult exercise classes and a great children’s pool, that our granddaughter would have loved. Also visited the market and eat at the outside snack bar. It had a full bar; the prices were reasonable and the food was excellent.
