More than 20 Yogi Bear-themed locations are adding new cabin/rental accommodations and/or RV sites in preparation for the 2023 season
Record business levels at Jellystone Park Camp-Resort locations across the country are prompting many Yogi Bear-themed park operators to add more cabins and campsites.
“Expansions are underway at more than 20 of our locations across the country,” said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Southfield, Michigan-based company that franchises Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across North America.
“Many of the new cabins and campsites will be available Memorial Day, but some will open later in the summer,” Hershenson said.
Here’s a sampling of the expansion efforts underway at Jellystone Park locations this year:
— Asheboro, North Carolina: This location recently added 67 RV sites, boosting its total to 131 sites, including one quad site and 13 cabins.
