Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA Holiday

11759 Snug Harbor Ln, Williamsport, MD 21795

At this KOA, you can take a lazy canoe ride under a bright canopy of leaves. There’s great fishing in the creek too! Meander along winding paths through extensive, lush rock gardens. Relax in the gazebo surrounded by flowers and herbs. The kids will enjoy our jump pad, a playground, an outdoor theater, swimming pool and oversized chess and checkers. Participate in themed weekends during the summer.

Check out the Haunted House in October, a chilling experience. On weekends, stop by KOA’s nostalgic Remember When Diner. Enjoy hamburgers and fries, pizza or a crab cake dinner, as well as a full breakfast menu. Indulge in the soda fountain’s old-fashioned malts, shakes and floats.

With this KOA as your home base, visit Antietam, Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry battlegrounds. It’s a great place for Scouts, church groups and family reunions.

Unique little KOA with very friendly hosts! It has an on site Diner (closed during the week), chickens and roosters running around, and a lovely creek. Would definitely stay here again!

Camp site clean but very close to one another. Facilities dated but clean. We were only there a couple days so can’t comment on activities. Be careful on directions into camp…. larger rigs would have difficultly negotiating turn feom one line bridge!

The camping is ok, but the owner of this place are lovely. They have been more than helpful with me even though I was just staying for one night. Thanks again, I will come back again.

WARNING-one lane road going into here. Never again. Camping is supposed to be fun not traumatizing. We followed the directions on the confirmation and was shocked to come upon a hill and sharp turn onto a one lane road.

Our friends and family had a wonderful camping vacation here. The pool, play ground, arts and crafts, and DJ made the weekend one we will never forget. Everyone who works there is nice beyond your wildest dream and all the other campers we met during our stay were delightful! 5 stars for sure, definitely a 10 out of 10🤩💕
Great location for a small vacation! Friendly staff and plentiful amenities and events for children. All of the staff I met were extremely kind and helpful. If you have the time and money, come for a day or two!

Cherry Hill Park

9800 Cherry Hill Rd, College Park, MD 20740

Cherry Hill Park is a family-owned and operated campground that has been in the Gurevich family for 5 generations. We love hosting guests from all across America, from all over the world, and from just down the road in our home state of Maryland.

Our story begins back in 1921, when Jacob and Rose Gurevich moved out to the country from Washington, DC. They bought a plot of land, started Cherry Hill Poultry Farm, and set up a general store right by the road. When travelers came through, Rose allowed them to set up camp behind the store, and the Gurevich family entered the industry of hospitality for the first time.

We have always stayed in the premium site close to the pool and cafe. We love Cherry Hill for RV/travel trailer camping with the kids! It’s a nice all inclusive resort style camping experience that I find myself returning to over and over again. This is the best campground I’ve been too in the last year. Looking forward to returning again. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating!! Awesomeness every time!!

This campground is truly a special place. If more businesses were run like this one, the world would be a better place. To a person, the people love their jobs and go out of their way to help customers enjoy the best experience possible. The owners are committed to continuous improvement in everything they do, year in and year out. We spent nearly a year with them in 2020 and the experience was outstanding. This visit was over a week and when we need to extend, they just took care of it without question. They exemplify the saying, "You will never treat your customers any better than you treat each other." They treat everyone the same and it is ALWAYS the best.

This was an amazing place. My husband and I are traveling up the East coast this summer and chose Cherry Hill Park since it was the closest campground to DC. This park went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The concierge, Cathy, was incredible. The customer service that she and the rest of the park staff provided was second to none. I would highly recommend this campground. It is a fantastic place with lots of amenities!!!

I had high expectations and they were well met. So much of the staff was just so friendly and actually trying to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I even saw a lifeguard smiling while watching kids play in the pool. They're just happy and helpful and care. The facilities were great. We played in the pool, did laundry, enjoyed their out door movie night, played on multiple playgrounds, and sat in the hot tub. You'll want to make sure you have a support slinky for your sewer hose though as their drain pipes are a little elevated. also, just a heads up that the Cherry Hill bus line that starts and ends at the gate is not super dependable and just doesn't show sometimes, twice for us. That's not the campgrounds fault, just a heads up for visitors. On this trip, we've seen Mt. Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, the Gateway Arch, the National Mall, and the Smithsonian Zoo (to name a few) but Cherry Hill is the favorite destination for some of my kids and in the top few for all of them. This was a sad place to move out of as we continued our trip. Thank you!

We brought our RV in at night and they were very accommodating to helping us find our site. Jon was so kind and helpful to us our whole stay. We really appreciated his help and conversation! The location was fabulous! The young man in the camp store gave us exact directions into Washington DC and even assisted in loading subway cards so I didn't have to fuss with getting them at subway station. Great customer service! Thank you Cherry Hill Park!

You can't really compared this to any other RV Park. It's like Disneyland. Everything is spotless and manicured. I'll try list some of the amenities this part has. The RV sites has full hookups and that includes cable TV with a whole bunch of stations. Does a fishing pond a dog park two swimming pools a Jacuzzi an outside amphitheater where they show movies. There's a cafe on site and they will deliver food to you campsite. There's also big cabins that you can rent and small cabins just for sleeping. They have tent sites and deluxe tent sites with a gazebo and a table and chairs. Does a miniature golf course. One of the best things about this place is if you came to see Washington DC, the bus will pick you up at the park and take you to the Metro. There's also liaison on site who will teach you how to use the buses and Metro system. I stayed here about 6 days and still couldn't see everything that was to see in Washington DC. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the freeways are very close to the campsites and some of the sites are very noisy. But the positives far outweigh that one negative

Bayshore Campgrounds

4228 Eastern Neck Rd, Rock Hall, MD 21661

Bayshore Campground is located along the Eastern Shore of Rock Hall Maryland, directly on the Chesapeake Bay.  This waterfront destination offers a great camping experience, unique to other campgrounds.  Our campground sits one story above sea level, offering breath taking sunsets every night and amazing views of the landscape.  This elevation provides a nice breeze on hot summer nights.  There is not much of a beach, but when the tide is low, you can savage for valuable seagrass, seashells, arrowheads and driftwood along the shoreline.  You are welcome to fish off the Rocks on the Bay or in one of our two ponds, stocked with fish for catch and release.  Do not be surprised if you catch a glimpse of our nations’ favorite bird, the Bald Eagle.  Our tranquil location is the perfect place for relaxation, bonding with family and unwinding from life’s busy schedules.  Spring, Summer and Fall are always the best times to visit, however we are open year-round for the adventurists that wants to camp in the colder months of the year.

BayShore B Campground LLC is within close proximity of many attractions. Just three miles south on East Neck Island Road is the Wildlife Refuge, which includes great nature trails and amazing bird watching.

This campground is a rare find in today's world of corporate campgrounds. Family owned, beautiful campground. Very friendly staff and the owners are wonderful! We stayed here in a back in site. The grounds are well taken care of and I would even say manicured. Even the seasonal sites are very well taken care of and decorated tastefully. The only thing lacking is a sewage hook up. But there are many dump stations throughout the park. He had a great time here and wish we had a few more days here. We will stay here again. Thank You Bayshore Campground.

We spent 4 relaxing days at this campground. At check in we were taken to our sight by staff in a golf cart. The grounds are beautiful and the view of the Bay and amazing sunsets make this an exceptional location. Although the temperatures were in the 20's (It is March??) we explored Rock Hall and took short walks. We would definitely recommend this campground!!!
