Staff very friendly. I hav a 71ft Prevost coach w/Towed and needed a place for the night. This place is located in a thick shaded woods so satellite dish 🛰 didn't work. Site #32 advertised as 70ft pull threw and more like 80ft and narrow and can be challenging for large rigs to get in suitable position. Ordered pizza 🍕 from nicely stocked store @ main office and they delivered to my site! It was delicious 😋. Park was very nice, clean and quiet.

I have never done a Google review before, but feeling “ripped off” changes everything. In short, I was “robbed” by RJourney, who owns this RV resort. Due to circumstances out of my control, I had to cancel a reservation one day prior to my arrival (which was made six months in advance) for two spots at a total of $1449 at the Elkhart (IN) RV Resort. They would not refund me anything, not even a penny! No understanding at all!I have stayed at this rv park this time of year for the past three years, when it was one of my favorite KOAs. Because of this lack of understanding and flexibility, I will never EVER stay at an RJourney resort and hope that my experience will be a warning to others of the kind of business they run. My only recourse it to alert others to stay away. They do not deserve anyone’s business. If you’re using Google reviews to determine where to stay, realize that all the great reviews for this resort were prior to the RJourney purchase. Also, I’m sure there will be a response to this review from RJourney, which like all their other responses is tone deaf and insulating. And lastly, I suspect that the spots I could not use were rented to someone else. Greedy people!

This is an absolute gem of a campground and we're so glad we were able to stay here. As I mentioned to the extremely friendly staff, "this place is big but small." I know that sounds strange but I think it's in the layout. There is definitely plenty of space for RVs (we didn't have to unhook our trailer which puts us at 54 feet) as well as the ability to rent one of a number of cabins, but the way that things are arranged gives the place a very intimate feel. Add to that the lovely foliage and the fact that the campground is located on a quiet road, and I can almost promise you that you'll want to extend your stay. The campground offers a number of amenities including: a big laundry room, a number of SUPER CLEAN showers, a bathroom with multiple stalls, a game room, a playground, and a pool. The onsite store is really cute, has good prices, and features several organic products. The campground is close to grocery stores and restaurants and only a few miles away from a zoo and several parks.Elkhart RV Resort was a real treat for our family!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Management allowed a site to bring in a Karaoke performer with it set up at a pull thru site. No notice of this event at check in with it starting at 8:00pm and an unknown ending. We were 2 sites from it and could not turn our TV up loud enough or have a conversation in our RV. We could not get away from it. My call to a regional Rjourney manager yielded nothing but she admitted the local manager must use the pavilion in the future. Good luck with that happening as this is NOT a KOA any more. Apparently, a partial refund is not going to be approved. STAY AWAY !!

Update July 2022:After being bought by RJouney, this has gone from one of our favorite campgrounds to one we probably won't visit again.Staff was virtually non-existent, and corporate was not helpful at all with problems.Cable TV is no longer available, WiFi works intermittently at best, the pool is closed in the middle of summers, and no activities are scheduled. Gelato bar is closed with no signs of it reopening. Staff on duty seemed totally uninterested in helping and no manager was on duty.Right now the campground is only about 25% occupied with very few seasonal or longer-term campers. It's a shame that RJouney would buy such a lovely site only to let it fail like this.

Over all below decent place. When we got there we were greeted by very nice people but at night the worker was very rude and had an attitude when explaining thing. The tent camping space was pretty little.

I thought for their rate the lots would have been bigger. The lots were super small. In the tent area they made the roadway and car parking spot stone but the stones are all over in the dirt, which makes it extremely difficult to drive a tent stake . The playground and pool are very nice. The ladies working at the office are not. One example: My daughters were swimming and the office lady approached them and said I dont want to be that person but you need to get out and take your things. My adult daughter asked why and was told a person received a cut that they thought came from glass in the pool and they needed to check why. Good reason, bad way to say it.

Checked in April 2022. Now it’s August 2022 this is the cleanest RV park we have ever stayed at. Bath house and laundry are spotless. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Quite and save. They have a fairly new playground. Owners are looking to keep updating the campground.

Nice RV park. They have a nice pond and we even found a big box turtle just meandering around. Would definitely stay here again if I need to be in the indy area. Parking the trailer was a breeze. Hookups are a little far forward in the lots so make sure you pull the tongue of the trailer all the way to the end of the lot before unhooking.

We were 280 miles from home, having truck issues on our way back from vacation. My husband called to see if they had a spot for the night maybe 2, she said she had one for that night but if need be she may be able to figure something out for us for a second night. Mind you this was also a Sunday, not during their normal business hours. Site was long enough for our 30ft travel trailer and truck with room to spare, rate was lower than we expected for full hook ups. Park was clean and well kept, our son loved the playground and pond. We are so grateful for your kindness and willingness to be flexible if we needed it. Luckily our fathers came to the rescue, one hauled the camper home and one brought the part that fixed the truck. If we're ever in that area again they would be our first call (well in advance that time 🙂).

Very nice. Food was delicious. Cornbread muffins are the best that I have ever had. Lunch specials are reasonable.

Before booking a site here, I read the past reviews, being certain to check the dates posted. I noticed that the reviews have been getting better and better as the years went by.I don't know what I would have improved about this place. It's immaculate and well -maintained. One can see there have been rather expensive upgrades made to the water and sewage systems. These folks are really trying to give their clients the biggest bang for the buck.My site was level and long enough for my trailer and my truck. The 2 ponds were low while I was there, but being the remnants of the gravel pit, I think that's controlled by the water table in the surrounding land.I had no reason to have any interaction with the staff or to use the facilities, so I can't speak to thatI stayed here in a 28-ft travel trailer.
