| We are hoping to be on the road starting next Spring. I am wondering which cell phone company has the best coast to coast coverage. I have looked at the coverage maps online, but I know those aren't always totally correct. We have service with a small cell company now, which works great in our city, but isn't country wide. So we will be needing to upgrade before we head out. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appriciated.

| Sprint, Verizon and AT&T all have national coverage and are all good. |

| Hey Jennifer,
One of our friends (http://www.technomadia.com) just released a new app called "Coverage" http://www.technomadia.com/2010/12/introducing-coverage-for-iphone-... If you'll forgive me this app sounds like it might be exactly what you need; if you have an iPhone or iPad? The app basically shows you cell phone coverage (color coded by the 4 major providers) for any area in the U.S. and the cost is only 99 cents.

| Thanks Amanda,
That sounds like a great app. Unfortunately we have Android phones. Technomadia has another app that I would love to have, about state laws. Hopefully someday they will develope them for Droids also.

| State Laws is great! Verizon is hands down the best everywhere we've gone. Unfortunately we have AT&T for a big longer. But Verizon seems to be better anywhere we've been (25 states so far). We'll definitely switch 1. after our contract's up and 2. once they have iPhones. |
