| Let's say you and I were going to build an RV Park. You've been traveling, and you know what you like, and what you don't like in a park- what is that??
Please take a second to think about your favorite things, and least favorite things- and tell me! Email, website or reply to this thread.
Now, I'm not saying I'll build the perfect RV Park, but you never know. We'll publish the results of this informal survey on our blog in the next month or so.

I am interested in the results you get from this.
I am often disappointed with RV Parks in general. What I like has been born out of learning what I do NOT like, since most RV parks have the same problems.
Here is what I want in no particular order:
1. Hospitality: At least 'pretend' you want guests even if you do not
2. Spacious sites: sites should be separated by a natural barrier i.e. trees, shrubs, water
3. Natural setting: no parking lots
4. Clean amenities
5. Easily navigable: I'm 50' long
6. Good hookups
That's all I ask for. This is why I go camping and yet it seems most RV parks are overpriced parking lot carnivals. Worse yet, most RV park websites promote this aspect of their parks. It amazes me how many park sites' photo galleries are all about the people and activities. How about pictures of the sites, the setting, etc.

I agree, I have disappointed many more times than I have been impressed!
What I want:
Family and children friendly.
An indoor and outdoor pool both salt water!
Theater Room
Private Family Shower Room. (It is so challenging and COLD to wash a toddler in a teeny tiny stall, yet alone two or three small children or a child and a baby.)
WIFI throughout entire park! (why not out up some repeaters, people???)
FRIENDLY STAFF!
Slow drivers and community events and games like my favourite majhong!!
Near Parks!
I do want to build this park and many more like it.
I can develop land if anyone has a good location!
